Meet the dedicated leadership team behind Wilco Omega Scholarship Foundation.

Dennis Burrell

President

Dennis Burrell is a Senior Product Manager with Ventev and has over
30 years of wireless industry experience. He is responsible for developing Ventev’s antenna
and RF portfolio of products. Dennis has worked on numerous high-profile Wi-Fi
designs focusing on aesthetically pleasing and concealed antenna solutions that
have garnered recognition within the industry and are the genesis for numerous
patents, of which he holds 13 with an additional 2 patents pending.

Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Howard University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Dallas. He is an active member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Omicron Nu Nu Graduate Chapter, in Round Rock, TX. and currently serves on the fundraising committee. He is also a volunteer for the Round Rock Independent School District.

Dr. Kevin R Johnson

Board Member

Dr. Kevin R Johnson Sr. is a Senior Advisor at Advance CTE, the oldest career technical
education (CTE) organization in the country that serves all 50-states and five U.S. territories, he
currently leads the Postsecondary State Career Technical Education Leaders Fellowship at
Advance CTE sponsored by ECMC Foundation and the Opportunity Gap Analysis Technical
Assistance work with 37 states which provides resources and training on using data to close
access gaps to high-quality CTE programming. He also leads the Leaders of Color Affinity
Group for Advance CTE members and the Diversifying the CTE Workforce Shared Solutions
Workgroup with national participating partners such as the Joyce Foundation and the Man-Up
Teacher Fellowship.


Dr. Johnson is a former teacher, campus administrator, district administrator, statewide
administrator at the Texas Education Agency, and Round Rock ISD school board member who
continues to serve his community as a mentor and volunteer. He is a proud and active member of
the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and the chartering Basileus of the Omicron Nu Nu Graduate
Chapter, in Round Rock, TX chartered on 12/15/2021. His local volunteer activities include
active member of El Amistad, a local community and scholarship organization; City of Round
Rock Juneteenth Festival planning committee member; and a mentor at Stony Point High School

where he founded the Brotherhood in 2012, a male mentor program. He is a published author,
podcaster, the father of Kevin Jr. and Kayla, and husband to Kinika for 24-years.

Ron Fagan

Chairman

Ron Fagan, is the Managing Partner of Fagan Consulting, a transportation systems consulting firm. He has worked in the electronic toll collection industry in varying leadership roles for over twenty-seven years. Ron moved to Central Texas in 2005 to serve as the Director of Operations for the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority in Austin, Texas.
 
Ron's interest in educational scholarship opportunities is grounded in the influences of his parents, who served as educators for decades. He believes that assisting young people to pursue their dreams of higher education or certification in trade provides the opportunity to change the individual's life and potentially change the trajectory of those to come. Ron is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporate. He served nine years on active duty with the United States Army, including duty in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of West Florida.

Brian Bolden

Board Member

Brian Bolden, currently serves as Regional Vice President for Baker Construction, a
large national commercial concrete subcontractor. Brian graduated in 2010 from Texas
A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. After starting his career
as a Project Administrator in 2010 with MEDCO Construction, he rose through the ranks
to Senior Project Manager & Project Director by 2018. In 2019, he joined Osburn
Contractors leadership team for Central Texas where he spent four years. In 2023, he
joined Baker Construction.
Brian is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. He has served the
fraternity in a variety of capacities since he became a member in the Spring of 2008.
